Open Signature Requests
There are a handful of actions users can take with open signature requests. This sections covers what those actions are and how to use them.
NOTE
In order for Dropbox Sign to properly update Signature Requests, the checkbox under Security -> Session Settings -> Lock sessions to the IP address from which they originated must be unchecked. The callback functionality will not work if this setting is enabled.
The Dropbox Sign Signature Request record and child Signature Request Details contain signature data that can be used to automate business workflows.
The Latest Action field contains key information:
- Awaiting Signature
- Signature .Completed
- Declined
- Cancelled
The Dropbox Sign Signature Request Detail record contains the Event field which populates important events for each signer requested.
- Sent
- Viewed
- Signed
- Declined
